About the game
You are Ilya Redin, a junior registrar at District Records Office No. 7 in the town of Uzlovsk. Papers arrive by pneumatic post, five stamps wait on their stand, and the wall clock counts down your shift. Check the case number, the signature and the copy mark against the order of the day, stamp your decision, seal the canister and send it up the pipe. Then sign the slip with a real stroke of the mouse.
Most of the paperwork is gloriously absurd: an application for chair operation, a permit for keeping a pigeon, a notice of receipt of a notice. The 24 story cases are a different matter: they decide where people live and work, and your decisions come back days later — sometimes to your own front door.
Evenings belong to the family: your wife, your daughter and your mother. Stretch a tight wage over food, rent, heating and medicine. Thirty working days end in one of ten outcomes, followed by an epilogue about your family and the people whose cases crossed your desk.
Free to play right in your browser, in English or Russian. The game is still in development, but you can already play from day one to day thirty.
