About the game
Uprising: Lands of the Red is a free real-time strategy game for Windows. The Blue Empire has seized the lands of the Red Clans and all but drowned the revolt in blood. You are the last surviving commander: start from the ashes of a burned-out camp and fight your way up to storming an imperial fortress.
The seven-chapter campaign keeps changing the rules: economy-versus-economy warfare, a march with autonomous allies, a forest sweep with a five-strong squad and no buildings at all, and two chapters without a single battle — just campfire conversations and decisions that come back later.
Every building starts with a worker. Raise barracks, mines, walls and towers, counter knights with spearmen and break fortifications with catapults. Each of the three heroes has an active ability, and the AI grows its own economy and adapts its army to yours.
